Salvation
"Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn't he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, 'Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep.' I tell you that in the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent."

What is Salvation?
The word of God is clear that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). It also states that the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 6:23). Salvation is the way of escape from sin and it's consequence--death. We can only obtain salvation by believing that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to earth, died for our sins, and was resurrected (or raised) back to life.
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved."
-John 3:16-17

-John 3:16-17
How do I receive Salvation?
"If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
