FAQ
WHAT WILL MY CHILDREN LEARN IN LIttle warriors of the kingdom kid's ministry?
Little Warriors of the Kingdom receive the children's version of what adults receive in the main service. Through age-appropriate lessons and activities, movies and discussions, your child(ren) will learn biblical truths and real-life lessons they can apply to their everyday lives. Your child will also be given homework assignments. We encourage you to go over the assignments with your child(ren). Your child will learn about:
- The Process
- The Fruit of the Spirit
- How to pray
- How to read the Bible
- How to engage in spiritual warfare
Can I sign my child up for baptism?
At OBICIL, we do not offer infant baptism, but we do offer child dedications. A child dedication is a public commitment you make before God, your family, your godparents and the congregation that you will raise your child according to God's principles.
We believe that water baptism is an intentional public proclamation of faith. Thus, only someone old enough to understand the public statement of faith they are making would be baptized. When your child is old enough to understand the gospel, repentance and are ready to make a personal confession of faith in the Lord Jesus, they may be baptized.
